Terms of use

Last updated: 4 November 2026. These terms are between you and the independent developer who runs Tidyfield ("we") for the Tidyfield Compare Excel add-in, website and online compare tool ("the software").

Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software. The free plan and trial are provided at no charge. A Pro licence key may be activated on up to three devices used by one person; team licences cover the number of people stated at purchase. You may not resell, share or publish licence keys, reverse engineer the software, or use it to build a competing product.

Purchases and renewals

You buy Pro from Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its terms of sale; Lemon Squeezy charges your card, adds any sales tax and sends the receipt. Pro yearly renews automatically each year at the then-current price until cancelled from the receipt email or the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Lifetime licences are a single payment and include future updates for as long as the product is maintained.

Refunds

Email [email protected] within 14 days of a purchase or renewal and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds are paid back to the original card through Lemon Squeezy.

Your data

The software processes your spreadsheets on your device. See the privacy policy. You are responsible for the content of your files and for keeping backups; always keep a copy before merging.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is". We do not promise that it finds every difference or that merged results are correct in every case. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update the software and these terms; material changes will be noted on this page. We may end a licence that is used in breach of these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of REPLACE-WITH-GOVERNING-LAW. Nothing here limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
